How Did All These Kids Get Here?

Posted on March 23, 2012 | by Bridget | 18 Comments

Funny story…I’m not going to tell you it right now. You’ll have to wait until next month. I’m hooking up with Patricia at Critters and Crayons and Chrissy at Outlaw Mom to host a Mother’s Day Blog Hop. From April 13th to May 13 you can link up on any of our pages and tell your childbirth stories.

We want to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly. Mostly the ugly – it makes me feel better about myself.

I promise to tell you which one of my earthlings refused to come out. Which one heard his first curse word at 5 minutes old (not from me, I promise). And which one I didn’t get to hold until hours after he was born.

I know you can’t wait to find out dirty details of how this…

Led to this…

Which ultimately led to lots of this…

Get your stories ready and link up! Then come back and read them all. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry…you’ll need a few extra boxes of wine!

What if I don’t have a blog but have a 3 week old and a very fresh birth story? I can promise it will be ugly, my husband was 9.5lbs and 24″ at birth….I see lots of wine in my future.

This sounds like fun. But I’m retarded, how does a blog hop work? Is it like the State wide tests? Gee, I don’t even know if I remember the day I gave birth to my midgets!

It’s easy. When you write your post just grab the linky code from the box and embed it. Then click on the linky tools at the bottom of my post (or one of the others) and add your information. Email me and I can walk you through it when the time comes:)

Aye, aye, Captain! Contrary to what my husband says, I’m actually good at following directions. It’s the recollection that’s going to be tough…

  6. I’m going to read them all and keep track of how many times “vagina” is said just for shits and giggles.

  7. Grace says:

  8. Stasha says:

This is awesome. I might have to plagiarize for you since my birthing experience was wonderful but I will come back to link up!

  9. Scared to re-live my first, but happy to laugh about the second. Excited for this!
