In the last 24 hours I have encountered the two most stupid people on earth. I’m not exaggerating. I would never do that. If I could make this into a sticker from an online printing service I would have and plastered it on their foreheads.
Stupid Person #1: On the way to drop the twinkies at preschool this morning I stopped at a red light. Because that’s what one does when the light is red, they stop. When the light is green, they go. The person in front of me turned on her left signal, only she wasn’t in the turn lane. I assumed she had put her blinker on accidentally. Then the light turned green…she just…sat there. I honked. I flapped my hands feverishly, hoping she would realize her mistake and get moving. Nope. She just sat there, waiting to turn left. I had to pull around her. Then, about 20 cars did the same think. Honking, hand waving, passing. She had to turn – regardless of the traffic indicator or other drivers.
The worst part? About 20 feet up there was another entrance to the same parking lot, she could have easily turned there instead of driving me one step closer to hating all of humankind.
Stupid Person #2: My friend Sara and I went to Toys R Us to punish ourselves and to look at strollers. Don’t get excited, they were for her bun-in-the-oven, not mine. (No more heartbeats allowed in this house.) There was one double jog stroller she was interested in and one traditional double stroller. We went from standard to jog to standard and then back to jog. However, when we went to look at the jog stroller again, it was gone. The display stroller was gone.
When we got to the checkout counter we saw a mother with two small children checking out. She had the display stroller. Only, she wasn’t buying it. She took it off the shelf to push her kids around while she did her shopping. Seriously? Seriously, who does that? Sara was going to buy one, but couldn’t test it out because this crazy person decided to use it like a shopping cart.
They needed that sticker.
Wouldn’t you like to have some stickers to give people when they are stupid? I guess you could use them for other reasons too, maybe even to tell your kids they are smart. Or to mail to your favorite blogger telling her how awesomesauce you think she is.
