Today I’m guest blogging over at Confessions Of A Semi-Domesticated Mama. Delilah asked me to write a letter to my teenage self. Since she is one of my favorite bloggers, I was happy to oblige.
I thought about telling me to try harder to meet the New Kids On The Block. Or to try harder in biology class – which would have probably served me better than knowing all the words to “The Right Stuff.”
But when I looked at my own teenage daughter – and thought about all the other teenage daughters out there – I knew what I needed to say.
You can read my blog here, show me some comment love and check out the rest of Delilah’s blog while you’re there.

Bridget-
I’ve been reading your blog since it was featured in Julie O’Malley’s column. It was funny because I thought, “Wow! I have twins and this woman sounds so cool! I should check it out.” Ironically, I realized I already knew you! I had Taryn in our School Business Partnership class at Begich while she was in 8th grade. After reading this entry, I felt I needed to comment. You do have an amazing daughter and did a wonderful job (along with your husband) in raising her. I hope my daughter is as thoughtful, hard working, and confident as Taryn is. I just wish she came to visit us more often after school…;) Whitney D’Atri and I would love to see her and catch up on how she’s doing!
Your blog keeps me entertained and thankful I only have one set of twins. Your activities and thoughts are often mine, but I am not the writer you are and don’t have the time to write it all down! Keep it up and know that I am truly grateful to have found you online! And tell Taryn we expect a visit soon!!!!
Michelle
Hi Michelle! I remember you. Small world isn’t it? Thank you for your kind words about Taryn. She’s a good egg, we’re very proud of her. She had a great freshmen year, she just keeps getting better and better.:) I’ll tell her to read this comment, (she’s away on her summer adventure right now) I’m sure she’d love to catch up with you guys too.
Thanks so much for reading the blog. I hope it’s as fun for you to read as it is for me to write!
