I’ve never posted on your site before, but I read your blog almost every day (shared with me by a friend). Thank you to Dallas for his service to our country! Thank you and your family for the sacrifices you make every day being a military family. Thank you for sharing your stories! While I grew up as an Army brat for a time, and while we moved around a lot, my father was never deployed. I can only imagine what you go through every day. Blessings to your family and Happy Homecoming!

So happy for you Bridget!!! As you know, my Justin is home with his family now as well! Breathing sighs of relief for everyone!!
I’m letting out a long-held breath. Each week this lat month when soldiers arrived and were pictured in the paper, there were also notes of sadness of those who wee never doming home to their families. I read the names, and because of your sharing your family, Bridget, I always checked for Dallas’ name. Damn me if you will, but I let out a little air when the name wasn’t his. Thank you, Dallas, and your terrific group for your incredible and sacrificing service. I love the photos, and hope you continue the blog, Bridget. Welcome, Dallas!
I love me some Rainey family togetherness! Welcome home Dallas!!

This picture instantly brought tears to my eyes. My brother in-law is a Marine & has been on 3 deployments & I know how hard it was for my sister each time he was away. Thank you to Dallas for his service & to your family for the sacrifices you make as a military family. So happy for your family that he returned safely & you are all together again as a family.I’ve enjoyed reading your blog for the past 6 months & admire your strength & ability to find humor in most situations, but also enjoyed your serious posts about fallen soldiers & the important things in life.
