Kids ask a lot of questions. I get asked “Is it snack time?” at least 47 times a day. Sometimes they ask while they are eating a meal. Luckily, that’s not annoying. (She says as she pours her fifth glass of wine.)
They ask about lots of other stuff too. Here’s a list of some of the recent questions.
“Do policemen sleep?”
“What about firemen?”
“Is Christmas the first holiday and Halloween the last one?”
“Have you ever eaten macaroni and cheese?”
“Does everyone in the whole world see fireworks on the 4th of July?”
“Are there fireworks in Afghanistan?”
“If John is my big brother, who is Chandon’s big brother?”
“Why can’t we eat bubbles?”
“What’s the secret ingredient in Ramen noodles?”
“When you love someone do you take the love out of your stomach and give it to them?”
I like the last one the best. Yes, when you love someone you take the love right out of your stomach and give it to them. Then you fill the empty spot with wine.
